Graphite anode material

The negative electrode of the lithium ion battery is made by mixing a negative electrode active carbon material or a non-carbon material, a adhesive and an additive to form a paste adhesive, which is then uniformly applied on both sides of the copper foil, and is dried and rolled. Whether the lithium-ion battery can be successfully produced,the key is whether a negative electrode material capable of reversibly deintercalating/deintercalating lithium ions can be prepared. A good Graphite anode material should follow the following principles: high specific energy; low relative lithium electrode potential; good reversibility of charge and discharge reaction; good compatibility with electrolyte and binder; small specific surface area (<10m2/g), High true density (>2.0g/cm3); good size and mechanical stability during lithium insertion; abundant resources, low price; stable in the air, no toxic side effects. At present, the Graphite anode materials that have been practically used for lithium ion batteries are generally carbon materials such as graphite, soft carbon (such as coke, etc.), hard carbon, and the like. The Graphite anode materials being explored are nitrides, PAS, tin-based oxides, tin alloys, nano-anode materials, and other intermetallic compounds.

The “Research and Development Project of Graphite anode Materials for Lithium Batteries” declared by our company in 2010 has obtained the national project of Technology Innovation Fund for SMEs. At the end of 2012, the company was awarded the national high-tech enterprise. In 2013, we were awarded the title of Tianjin Science and Technology Leading Enterprise. In 2013, we were awarded the title of “Top 100 Enterprises in Science and Technology Innovation in Tianjin” and the title of 100 Enterprises in Advanced Party Organization. In 2014, we were awarded the title of Tianjin Science and Technology Little Giant Key Cultivation Enterprise. The “Special Graphite Carbon Materials R&D” project declared in 2014 has been approved as a major project for Tianjin Science and Technology Little Giants Leading Enterprises.
